1.Where do you want to be in five years? What type of education are you going to pursue after you get out of high school? Community college, four-year college, technical institute? Please be honest with yourself. If you have a 2.0 g.p.a. as a junior, you are not going to the University of Florida or Harvard. Are you going in the Armed Forces? If so, are you in JROTC? If not, why not? What branch of the Armed Forces and why that branch?
In five years I want to hopefully be out of college and if not finished with my career go on with it or maybe working in what I like. After high school I’m still not sure what kind of education I want to pursue but I would like to either go into a community college or a four-year college. I don’t plan on going to armed force that’s just not for me.
2.Thinking ahead to the future, where do you want to be in 10 years with your career, family, etc. Have you researched this job or career? Shadowed anyone? Know anyone who is in this job or career? Why did you choose this particular job or career? What attributes do you have that would help you be a success in this area? Is there anything that might prevent you from accomplishing your goals? (money, grades, ability)—Please be honest with yourself. If you have trouble in math and science classes, you probably are not going to be a doctor. How much money do you think you can make at that job? How long do you think you will work before you can retire? 10 years from now I want to be hopefully done and working in my career and I want to have a family, about 2 kids. I have researched the career and I chose this career because I really like children and I would like to help out on try and bring them into the world. The attributes that I have that could help me be successful is that I have patients and I like to help people out a lot especially when it comes to newborns. The only thing that can prevent me from accomplishing my goals is probably going to be my grades and the money. I don’t have problems in math that’s the easiest subject for me. At first I probably won’t make as much but by the time I retire I’ll be making a lot of money. I will probably wok until I can’t work anymore or until I have made all I want to make.
3.What are your educational goals:
To graduate and pursue in my career This academic year:
this academic year I hope to improve my grades Senior year:
to graduate and raise my gpa Post secondary: (This means after you graduate from high school)
go to college and graduate
4.What have you done for your school or community? Have you volunteered, donated blood, etc.
I have volunteered a couple of time in school but not many 5.Have you considered some type of volunteer program for the summer that will advance you toward your goal? Would you be interested? I really haven’t been looking into that s o I really don’t know
